Yesterday I was a witness of the first-aid organization in Atyrau city. Arman is a volunteer first-aider with this organization (the name is not mentioned for ethical reason). Arman is married and it was surprising to realize that he is only one in the city voluntarily. While the staff members seemed to be no happy with their salary. Because for my question: 'You are volunteers or on salary?'
I received only inconfident silence and strange look. May be, I put a wrong question?
The organization has 15 equipped ambulance cars (night shift) for city population of 271,113 people. And in day shift 13 ambulances have been working to come for help. I am proud to have a friend like Arman (on photo-on the right). I hope he will not stop medical activity. Because we need strong personalities like Arman.
